Mac Mold Base uses their expertise for the production of small to large custom mold bases. Industries served include plastic injection, die cast, special machine tools, complete compression tooling builds, weldments and fabricating. Our customers service the automotive, consumer products, electronics fields, and more.

Each mold base varies in size, weight, components, etc, and is manufactured specifically to make a product for our customer. The mold base is built to customer specifications and completed in the shortest possible time without the warping found in re-worked standard bases.

Precisely machined steel, stainless steel, aluminum or P20 pre-hard steel. Our plate is available in rough, ground and finished to your specs. Cooling channels sized for each custom application. Balanced hydraulic and pneumatic functions for smooth plate actuation. Calculated insert stack compression. Front-mounted cavity and core designs for simple and accessible maintenance. Most accessories, including latches, lift bars, water connection kits and hardware.

• Weights: Mac Mold can handle up to 10-ton capacity. With special arrangements, we are capable of processing up to 30 ton capacity.

Some of the components we machine for are: ejector pins, slides, sprue puller pins and bushings, core pins, ejector sleeves, step pins, springs and slider locks.

Most work is done in-house, and we have excellent vendor supply of plate steel and alloys to insure on-budget and on-time shipping of your job. We do CNC milling, plate grinding and gundrilling. (See our gundrilling page for our New Tarus 4 axis CNC Deep Hole Gundrill)

Each mold base is completely assembled and fully inspected before shipping, insuring a fast, simple and problem free mold base.
